  1. This looks like a lot of work but is truly impressive! Great job and I look forward to seeing how things progress. Is the ground just wet or are you using the black mulch?

    1. Building the beds and filling with compost was definitely a lot of work. Planting, harvesting & eating are the fun parts, not work at all! The beds are filled with 100% compost, it's just really dark. We've had a lot of rain and I almost didn't get a chance to take the pictures. We had a mix of rain & sun yesterday and every time the sun came out, I was busy inside and couldn't get outside quick enough before the rain would start again.

  2. Your garden is absolutely gorgeous! I can see all the hard work that went into it. My garden, on the other hand, is a mess! LOL

    1. Thank you, Leigh! It's been fun and pretty easy to keep up with since this is the first season growing here(weeds & grass haven't had a chance to take over). However, since I've put so much time into the veggie garden, other areas have suffered (I'll be posting a pic soon of the "berry patch"). I'm sure that's the case with your veggie garden. You've been busy with other projects and promoting your new book!
